Kate Middleton's 35th birthday will be a low-key affair with only her family and close friends, the Mirror reported. The Duchess of Cambridge is reportedly celebrating the day with Prince William and children PrinceGeorge and Princess Charlotte at Anmer Hall in Norfolk.
The celebrations are also expected to include the Middletons, who joined the Royal Family at church Sunday, where Queen Elizabeth II made her first public appearance days after she canceled annual holiday services due to her health issues.Middleton will be beginning her first public engagements of the new year starting Wednesday. The mother-of-two will visit Child Bereavement U.K. on Wednesday as the London Centre marks its one year anniversary. She will also visit Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families (AFNCCF).
"This visit marks The Duchess' continued desire to draw attention to child mental health issues and the importance early intervention, and working with the whole family, can make to those in vulnerable situations," AFNCCF said in a statement.
The day before her birthday, Middleton arrived at St. Mary Magdalene church on the Queen’s Sandringham estate wearing a recycled dark green wool coat along with a grey fur hat.
This year, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are set to take up additional royal duties after the queen's decision to step down as patron of several organizations. Prince William and Middleton are also relocating their family to Kensington Palace.
Last year, reports surfaced that the two are planning to move to London because their 3-year-old son is set to start school next year. Currently, George attends nursery school at Westacre Montessori School in Norfolk, located 10 miles from his family home on the Sandringham Estate.
