The tragic news reaching us this afternoon alleges that Gambian opposition leader and President-elect Adama Barrow has been killed. This is coming on the heels of the incumbent
president refusing to step down after he had already concede defeat to the last general election.
According to CBN Television, Banjul – Gambia’s president-elect Adama Barrow who vowed to take office on January 19 despite the refusal of outgoing President Yahya Jammeh to give up power has been killed by unknown assailants.
