Student Jumps To Her Death After Failing To Acquire Grades To Enroll Into University

A young school  pupil jumped to her death after she failed her A-line level exams so could not get into her first choice university. Harpreet Kaur Halliath who is 18 got so much worried about her exams earlier this year.  She needed two A* grades and one A from her subjects in order to study Russian and
History at Durham University. Her dream could not be fulfilled, she was left dissapointed  after finding out she had got one A and two Bs in Russian, Latin and History on results day on August 18.

The teenager had been told by email her grades were good enough to get into her second choice of Edinburgh University.
However Hallaith left her family home in Wightwick, Wolverhampton, a few hours later at about 2.30pm for a walk.
Her worried parents Tersem, 48, and Avtar Hallaith, 50, reported her missing when she did not return hours later.
Police found some of Miss Hallaith’s possessions 11 miles away at the top of a beauty spot in Bridgnorth, Shropshire, along with a note. It was a place Miss Hallaith liked to go to think.
