Kanye West Suffers Depression As He Recovers From Break Down

Kanye West has been described as 'profoundly depressed and paranoid' as he continues to recover in hospital from a reported breakdown.   

Sources allegedly close to the 39-year-old rapper told TMZ he has been 'dealing with these issues for a long time.'

And after Kanye was rushed to UCLA Medical Center on Monday, the star was allegedly 'convinced people were out to get him.' 

This suspicion even apparently extended to the medical staff looking after him, and he briefly 'wouldn't even let the doctors touch him,' according to the U.S. website.   

However, the family and wife Kim Kardashian are hoping Kanye can return home on Monday, with his care supervised by his personal doctor.

Kim was at the rapper's bedside on Thanksgiving morning, with a source telling  People that the reality star, 35, was with her husband, for several hours.
