These Super Cute Dogs Are Actually Cakes

British baker, Emma Jayne Morris, who hails from Aberdare, South Wales, has been making a living baking cakes that look like real life dogs.

The 46-year-old who started baking six years ago has her own cake business and has found a niche for herself baking the dog-shaped cakes.
Emma told Daily Mirror"I made the British bulldogs after I was asked to make a special dog cake for Cake International magazine. The cake design is actually based on two real dogs named Bear and Duchess who belong to a family member.
"I used photographs of the pair from several angles to help me to get the detail right. It was quite difficult to sculpt the sponge because the shape is so complicated.
"I started by making the eyes out of fondant icing and then I made the faces. Used edible coloured dust to build up the colour around their heads before using an airbrush tool to paint the rest of the body.
"I've always had a passion for art, so getting the colour and the decoration right was really fun for me."
Emma has also created six other life-like doggy cakes in addition to the British bulldogs, including a Siberian husky, a French bulldog, a Portuguese water dog, a Chihuahua, a King Charles cavalier and a Cavachon.
She adds, She says: "I was first asked to make a husky cake for a birthday in June 2014.
"Ieed was really pleased with the result and it's still one of my favourites.
"Lots of people comment on my cakes saying, 'how do you ever bring yourself to cut it' and 'I can't believe this is a cake!'.
"The comments make me really proud and I can't wait to see what kind of cake I get to make next."
These photos are bound to blow your mind. Take a look at the gallery above.
