A plane mistake! British Airways accidentally recommends its Facebook followers to fly with big rivals Virgin Atlantic in embarrassing social media mix-up

British Airways' social media team have made a hilarious faux-pas.
Instead of promoting BA's offerings on Facebook the airline's page has accidentally shared a post by rival Virgin Atlantic
The airline accidentally shared a post to Facebook made by its rival Virgin Atlanticadvertising cheap flights to London.
After hundreds of amused followers spotted the embarrassing error, British Airwaysamended the post, with a caption reading: 'Finally we agree on something except for how to get there.'
