Angelina Jolie demands Brad Pitt has 'monitored visitation' of their six children... as she 'DECLINES his call for joint custody' in their messy divorce.
Angelina Jolie is reportedly planning to restrict estranged husband Brad Pitt's access to their six children to 'monitored visitation'.
Sources close to the Hollywood actress toldTMZ that she is prepared to fight him over his request for joint custody, which he filed on Friday.
She will therefore insist on primary physical custody 'until he gets his s**t together,' the website claims.
Supervised visitation is thought to be granted in cases of 'high conflict or high risk situations' when children can be only accessed 'in a safe and supervised environment'.
The couple are parents to Maddox, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, ten, and twins Vivienne and Knox, eight.
The mum-of-six is reportedly still blaming Brad's alleged 'substance abuse and anger issues' that she says he needs to work on.
Currently, estranged spouse Angelina has temporary physical custody and Brad has volunteered to have a visit with them while a therapist sits by
Both Jolie and Pitt will get counseling, and the entire family - both parents and children - will get therapy together.
It is claimed that Jolie has hired two expert lawyers to help her with her divorce.
But it will no doubt going to throw a spanner in the works for Brad, who is thought to be wary of a lengthy court battle that 'would cause great psychological damage to their kids.'
The L.A. County Department. of Children and Family Services is also still investigating a confrontation between the actor and his eldest son Maddox and the court's decision will be hinged on this outcome.
He is reportedly working on plans to repair his relationship with 15-year-old Maddox after their first time since the alleged altercation fell on October 19.
That came almost 40 days after the father and son were said to have had an angry exchange on board a private jet on September 14.
Brad's people deny claims that he attacked the young boy, who was defending his mother during a heated argument between the married pair, according to claims.
The next day, Angelina filed for divorce from her husband of two years - with whom she's spent 12 years - and moved into a rented home with their six children.
During the FBI's investigations, she is said to have faced length interviews about the supposed altercation but 'fully cooperated' with the two agents, who also spoke with 'some of the kids.'
Since then, actor Brad has pulled out of a planned campaign to win his first Oscar with Allied, his new film with Marion Cotillard.
The actor has therefore decided to refuse any interviews, press junkets or chat show appearances following his public divorce and the promotion of the film.
