A teenage boy murdered a man after having sex with his girlfriend at a party at the couple's home, a court heard.
Callum Hackett, 18, is accused of stabbing David Savage, 42, to death outside the home he shared with long-term girlfriend Donna Hawthorn, in Gosforth, Newcastle.
Newcastle Crown Court heard how Hackett had sex with Miss Hawthorn in her bedroom before leaving the party when Mr Savage caught the pair in an embrace.
It is alleged Hackett returned to the property to try and find his gloves before coming back a second time, armed with a knife.
He is accused of stabbing Mr Savage twice in the chest. Hackett, of Kingston Park, Newcastle, denies murder.
The jury heard that Mr Savage and Miss Hawthorn had been drinking at home with friends when Hackett arrived after being invited by a female guest.
