The ACC of Sierra Leone in collaboration with the Police ordered the arrest and detention the Kono District Council's Procurement officer Thomas Bangura on Tuesday this week.
Thomas Bangura was taken to the Tankoro Police Station for investigation says the head of Anti Corruption Commission in the Eastern District, Wilfred Bangura.
The suspect allegedly faile to meet his bail conditions thus had to spend the night in detention.
Recently the Council was accused by the civil society of misusing public funds for their ends.
